About 60% of the Japanese infantrymen who participated in the battle suffered casualties(According to Japanese records)[5].

Almost the entire 13th Division (Imperial Japanese Army) was annihilated(according to Japanese military history)[6].

65th Infantry Regiment suffer serious casualties,with at least 213 killed in action. However, based on the number of supplements and the number of people added, the number of people killed in action was much higher than 213.(Based on the military history compiled by Japanese war veterans after the war)[7]

2nd Independent Mountain Artillery Regiment Suffered irreparable losses about 350 people(Calculated based on the number of additional soldiers)[8]

The (Second) Battle of Changsha (6 September – 8 October 1941; Chinese: 第二次長沙會戰) was Japan's second attempt at taking the city of Changsha, China, the capital of Hunan Province, as part of the Second Sino-Japanese War.

The Japanese were repulsed again, and the battle ended with a Chinese victory.
