@Martinevans123 Sources say he's healing and "there's hope", so it could be only temporary and not a significant event worth mentioning in the lead. He's 77, health issues that become protracted aren't unusual. I'd say it's only worth a mention if it turns out to be permanent. Escape Orbit(Talk)22:48, 2 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The word clean is not used anymore to describe someone who is drug free, as it suggests that drug addiction (and the addict themselves) is dirty. In substance misuse we simply use abstinent from drugs (or in this case, drugs and alcohol). Or sober would work for both too. 86.22.150.89 (talk) 21:30, 30 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
